ALEX WARD Predicate @ Ryans Bar A bit of advance warning that Predicate will be playing at Ryan's Bar in Stoke Newington on Tuesday 21st September, with support from Mark Hanslip/Javier Carmona duo. I'm spreading the word about this slightly ahead of time because I've organised it myself and am hence keen to avoid being plunged into financial ruin. I should also advise you that Predicate are NOT playing with Vole at the Vortex on 28th September - anything that tells you we are (such as the current issue of The Wire) has been misinformed due to an administrative mix-up and should be ignored. (There will be a Vole/Predicate double bill at the Vortex, but not until November.) So just to make clear, Tuesday 21st September at Ryan's Bar is the only currently booked Predicate show in London before November. Admission will be £5 and music will start at 8.30.
